Throwing myself into the next GB! OOTB, but I'll add a few details here and there -- I suppose! This is another "practice" build -- I'll be throwing in/experimenting any and all weathering techniques I read in these forums!

I wanted the the Revell Thunderbolt, but noticed that the canopy is cracked. Still, this is one beeeg WWII AC!

I have made one of these in the last year. some work to do recessed lines and rivets, but besides this it was a good kit. With a help from one verlinden detail set, the results pleased me.

Good luck with your!

Cheers, Paulo.

Thanks Ted...wow this kit is somewhat crude..I guess, I'll need to scratch most of the interior and I've never done this before. Let's see if there's a AM cockpit...

I'd love to see you scratch something, Shaka! But there's this...

You can do it!! This kit can turn out great with a minimum of AM. I finished one last year that you can see via the link in my signature if you want. I hope you build yours faster than I did, though.

Dang..I guess I'll re-scribe/re-rivet the whole thing...I'll get to use all those scribing/riveting tools I bought last year.

TBH, I was expecting the quality of this kit to be somewhat equal to their P-40, but that's hardly the case.
