Urs
Finally finished my DAF Spitfire IXc. Colors used are exclusively Tamiya and MiG washes. Markings and national insignias are airbrushed. For the victory markings I used decals from the junk box. Critics are welcomed. LSP_Kevin
Fantastic build, Urs! Those exhausts are amazing. May I publish it on the website? Kev Urs
Wolf Buddee
Beautifully done Urs! You know how much I like Tamiya's Spitfire and you've done the kit complete justice with a fantastic build and paint work. If I have any critique, and it has nothing to do with the quality of your build, there shouldn't be any panel lines around the wing leading edge where the cannon barrels protrude. It's the way Tamiya engineered that part. I have to agree with Kevin, fantastic build, Urs. Cheers, Wolf Urs

dodgem37
That sure is really nice. 'Critics are welcomed.' If I may, I would recommend a 20% grey background. 20% grey would allow all colors to represent themselves accurately and not be influenced by the background color. You can use 20% of any color as a ground if you like, but grey is best. Your camera would like it too. Just a suggestion. Sincerely, Mark Urs

Urs
@dodgem37, better to use a brighter grey or a more dark one? I'll figure that out with pics l take in the future. Edited July 14, 2016 by Urs

Urs
Yesterday l decided to finish the Spitfire home little earlier than planned. I used a aluminum picture frame for that added some grass tuffs and a blanket to put the engine panels on it. Now its completed. Out2gtcha
Some nice touches there! I like the effects on the blanket, and the tufts of grass. Urs
