jmel
Jmel, your books are also a good help for me and other modellers , many thanks because i do not have a F-15 in my garden. I'm glad to see they help, especially when someone can use them as a reference for a build of this quality! Jake
Babs
Hello, The grid louver behind the canopy are removed with super glue added in the hollows to get a smooth panel. And some details added in the recess behind the rear cockpit. The canopy frame, surprising number of details that can be added. For the F-15 I ,a instrument dial will be added above the central spar. Only two rear view mirrors to be right. The câble for the helmets sensor are also added. F`s are my favs
A little bit of details... PS: The hooks are very nice, are they "homemade" or are pre-cut PE pieces? Beautiful! Edited August 19, 2016 by F`s are my favs

Babs
Hello, Up with the two ejection seats, I chose to use two seats from Cutting edge because they seem to me well in height. Few details to add: the rails from the Tamiya kit and some PE Eduard for the canopy breaker, belts and handles. The two rails are slightly different, front and rear. Coating cushions "sheepskin" made with baked soda on wood glue. Number on the headrest are the number of the aircraft. It lacks the placarts Aces II, I await from Airscale modern instruments decals, i hope they have the correct size. Hopefully this is interesting to you. Babs. F`s are my favs
One of the best cockpits! Very clean and medium-sharp colors. Of course I like it. Babs and Shawn M

Babs
Baking Soda and White Glue? Seats are incredible! Hello Shaka HI and thank you. Here is how I do. Place a coat of wood glue on the surface who to become sheepskin. Place the baking soda on the still liquid glue and curing the glue without touching. Then remove the baking soda surplus gently with a brush. Repeat on any area not well glued baking soda if necessary. Afterwards with a brush a very diluted coat of paint to fix the surface of grains and let it dry well. You can drybrush the surface after this stage.
