DougN
Very exciting release, and I will buy several. I really like the HK approach to kits, and am looking forward to some innovative molding techniques as well. Out2gtcha
nmayhew
i might finally get a kit worthy of my Lifelike Decals set for Big Mac Junior! Jennings - this bird would be right up your street, AND a chance to do the P-51 B version 'properly' took me a while to realise these were different airframes! but i always wanted to do the one pictured with the oast houses in the background... andromeda673
does anyone know and or have they heard any more about this, and or if HK is moving forward with producing this kit, I apologize if this has been discussed, I have been living under a rock for the past few months, and haven't been active at all on here, so I'm a little behind. Guest Peterpools
I'm with Brad on hoping the wings come less rivets and panel lines. After suffering through removing them on my current Tamiya Hun Hunter Mustang, the thought of going through it again in the near future is something I would rather not do. Juggernut
P-51 wings did have a couple panel lines on the top and bottom. If you look closely at Jennings art, you'll see that the machine gun access and ammo access panels are not sealed. Also the strut access panel is not sealed. On the bottom, the fuel tank access panels were not sealed. There may be one or two others that may not have been given the aerodynamic filler either but I'm not sure which they may be at the moment. Brad-M
Sorry, I should have been more specific there than just saying panel lines. You are of course correct. Thanks Brad Juggernut
