Nic C.D.
Here is a straight from the box build of Revell's new Bf-109 G-10 Erla. I have to say: it builds into a nice looking model. Like most kits, it has parts that can be improved, but even OOB it's very convincing. Here are a couple of photos: "Hey Bill, take a picture of me on top of this Messerschmitt we found!" A few close-ups: Very nice landing gear and wheels - quite a few parts, but they turned out okay. The construction of the wings needs a little care; each top wing is made out of two parts (they need a bit of Tamiya putty though). The details on the horizontal tail are a bit too heavy. For the next one I'll build, those will have to be modified ! The top of the engine looks quite nice too! Here's a look from the front: And one to finish: This is a 25 euro kit of a G-10 Erla in 1/32. That's pretty amazing, I think. I hope to be building a couple more, there are a lot of different camouflages possible! And by switching parts of the G-6, you can build small-wheel G-10's ! I hope you like this quick build ! Guest Peterpools
NIc Aces on the build. It's great to see a kit built straight out of the box and look so good. Nothing more enjoyable then just working from the box and kit instructions and finishing up with a terrific model. Peter
Daywalker
I hadn't originally planned to get one of these, but seeing this one built up may change my mind. Beautifully done, and love that photo with the GI on the wing!
