Red over painted with Future. Green dotted Oxygen Line. Scratch-built front bulkhead. With Starboard Sidewall. With Flash. Without Flash. With Port Sidewall. Another view. Starboard Sidewall against Fuselage. Port Sidewall against Fuselage. Hopefully that's not too much. I have a few more to shoot, tho. Having made this kit myself, I know where the weak points are and you have fixed or modified them all, without the benefit of using a Barracuda resin set. I really like the wiring, which is usually missed or crude. For example, the wiring harness coming out of the battery to behind the seat is usually wrong, so your use of tiny wires held together with fasteners is right on the money- along with all your other wiring. Weathering/wear is also very realistic. I think you're missing that little chain that attaches to the flare gun cap on the port side. Easy addition if you care to add it. I decided to make it open. I knew the type of chain link used, measured a link in a hardware store (1/2"/12mm), bent thin wire in half, put each end in a vice and twisted to make the chain. Then I slipped a wire thru the hole end, twisted that, punched a disc, drilled a hole in the disc, slipped the eye into the hole, glued, then trimmed. Thank you one and all. Still plugging away, in no particular order. Tail wheel and prop/spinner. Primed, aluminum, Future, 50% Chromate Green/50% White, Chromate Green. Scraped edges with a scalpel to show aluminum and 50% coating. Futured, washed with oil paint. I forgot the color. Maybe Burnt Sienna. Flat coated. Other side. Well well. Tail wheel and strut. Other side. Prop/spinner. Playing with Black chalk pastels. Same here. Looks a little thin. Playing with Prismacolor pencils. Cool Grey at exposed aluminum. Some locations rubbed with a cotton bud, others not. Tape is prep for yellow STAY-THE-HELL-OUT-OF-THE-WAY-OF-THE-SPINNING-PROPELLER! tip. Thanks for looking in. These will all make great reference pictures for my second 1/24 Mustang once the first one is completed. I've been considering to weather my Gustav's propeller blades very much like yours with a wide brush and some silver paint, but I'm terrified of messing it up!
