Thanks for all the kinds words blokes.

Tomek, I'll do my best, at least we have some nice spring sunshine here now.

Last few bits and pieces.

Added the fairing and the wipers.

The fairing is black on the 1/1 scale thing.

Had to bend the wiper arms slightly at the base to get them to sit flat on the screen but it went ok.

Added the spine aerial which is one of the unused parts in the F6 kit.

Painted a light tan as the real ones are "buff".

Added the upper anti-collision light from shaped and polished red sprue.

SAMI guide profile shows this as clear but again pics of the real thing show it as red .

Painted the exhaust a light tan then went to work with Flory wash and Tamiya soot and oil stain from the palettes.

Added the drop tanks.

The pylons are red on the 1/1 aircraft despite them being on the blue part of the wing.

I'm calling this one finally finished. :yahoo:

One of the most satisfying things with this build was being able to have open intakes and not have to resort to fod guards.

Its not an easy conversion and it can fight you sometimes, but its just good old patience and taking it steady that will win in the end!

Had a bit of a lapse as I started before xmas and the new year but finally got back into it.

Did have some nagging as well from the Omahaha man!

I'll post an RFI thread once I've taken some more pictures.

Thanks for looking in.

Great result Phil, and a fantastic looking model. For some reason, I have a thing for red on aeroplanes (both my current builds feature it), so I think this scheme is spectacular! And you pulled it off beautifully.

What up, Phil

GREAT to pop in and see this!! I know, I been away for a while and let's say things have changed again on my end!

Anyway "GREAT "F"ING BUILD" and I'll be popping in a bit more now as my time seems to be just that, MINE AGAIN!!!

PEACE,

Alfonso

What an outstanding model Phil, everything just blends in nicely, also seeing the trainer with this was also very nice.

So now this one is finished what is next up??

Regards

Richard
