Thanks Kev, it is starting to look like a Matador Hi Jim, really enjoying this build and you are right, have made these shapes and they have come out not to bad Thanks alot Hubert you don't see to much on this subject. Hi Ron, how are you doing, hope all well with the new venture, yes we should get together soon let me know your schedule. Well some more to the build, add more to the frame work on the cab, this was all made from wood in the real truck and then skinned with sheet metal or aluminum Then made the radiator frame Made a form so that I could make the engine cover hope you enjoy Regards Richard Until next time, Regards Richard -

Thanks Maru Hi Jim, trained as a fabricator welder Thanks Mark, checked the scratch parts and at this moment they don't add up to what I will not be using so suspension and connections should not be a problem Thanks Craig Sorry Maru, you have not missed a thing, but here is an update Started to make the cab from the bottom up with the wheel wells Until next time. Regards Richard -
Hi Matt, The front of the radiator will have a round hole in it for the oil cooler Hope that helps. Regards Richard

Been awhile since my last post, have done quite alot, Had to work out how i was going to fix the crane body to frame so I made a square to round out of 1/8 sheet, made it so it would fit into between the channel frame, drilled and taped to accept a screw, then added a piece of flat plastic to the frame, now it won't tip or come off Then started on changing the frame at the front end to accept the hook, made the spring which the hook attached to out of brass More to come, Regards Richard -

Thanks Matt, been working with metal for over 45 years and my advice is to read up on what ever you want to do, if it is machining, plate work etc etc. Been working on the Crane, getting close to putting some paint on it, does anyone know what colour it would have been in 1944/45 over in France, I have read that they where not Blue until after the war, is this correct?? Here is a picture I found on the Web do you think it would have been a green? Regards Richard -
