Is the skirt on this craft rigid or does it deform when powered down?

If so, does the kit offer that option?

Afaik the skirt deforms as the craft settles down. This looks very much like the SRN6, as used on the Portsmouth-Isle of Wight run in the 80s. They were very noisy craft!

Noisy? Whaaaaat did you say? You're not kidding! I went to France in an SR.N4  in the late 1980's and it was the antithesis of what I expected (smoothly gliding over the wave tops). I think it was the noisiest machine of any kind that I have ever been in and the ride was actually quite bumpy. 

 

I agree with @MikeC - that the kit looks very like SR.N6.
