Landrotten Highlander Posted August 8, 2024 Posted August 8, 2024 Sounds really interesting. However, I would like to make the Belgian SAR version which is a Mk.48. Can anyone with knowledge of these matters indicate if these types can be converted to the Mk.48?
JAM-SCREW Posted August 9, 2024 Posted August 9, 2024 Hello Highlander. Once we get past the the first 6 types Mk48, 43, HAS/HU5/6 Agusta, and Mitsubishi will be following shortly thereafter. Kagemusha, Landrotten Highlander and Out2gtcha 2 1
JAM-SCREW Posted November 11, 2024 Posted November 11, 2024 Hello All, some updates on the 1/32 scale Sea King release plans 👍 With this year’s vast learnings and valuable guidance from very generous people, we believe we’ve refined balancing numerous input factors and staying true to mission and principles, giving us our three release goals. 1) controlling upfront and ongoing costs 2) ensure production capacity is 100% utilized based on variant demand by modelers 3) deliver unprecedented quality, accuracy and value for money as is realistically achievable Armed with the goals we anticipate, (with all we know and don't know) kit production can potentially begin as early as March 2025 with the following points ensuring the three release goals. · Kits will be made to order, not stocked · Kick off with 1/32 scale. 1/35 scale to come online downstream. Reduces upfront cost, complexities and risk during operations start up. · Available variants have expanded from six to eight. MK3, HC.4, Mk41, Mk43, Mk48, Mk50, CH-124, SH-3 D/G/H. (All to be late life tactical schemes) · Kits will be sold by way of released scheduled production slots. Each slot designated for variant ordered. · Production slots will be sold on a FIFO (First in First out) basis. · Initially production slots will be released 4-6 weeks prior to “month” of production. Ensuring reliable shipment windows of no more than 6-8 weeks maximum from order. · The number of production slots released will be based on what can be 100% produced and shipped as planned. · Available production slots will increase in subsequent months, enabling investment in capacity and tailored by demand on volume and variants. · Orders placed require payment in full. Cancellations will not be accepted. Should unplanned events/factors emerge preventing planned production, all unfulfilled orders will be refunded in full or assigned a future production slot at the request of the customer. · Orders, initially, will be limited to a maximum 2 production slots, per customer, per production release. · Pricing is still to be validated, currently the anticipated range is $275 -$300 AUD (shipping excluded). · JAM-SCREW large scale kits will only be available through our website shop. The only exception will ongoing donations of CH-124 kits to The Shearwater Aviation Museum. These sold through the gift shop to raise funds for on going preservation costs. We are sharing this blueprint early and invite comment and feedback. We are very curious how you feel we can make the process better? What other questions still need to be addressed? Thank you for your ongoing interest and love of the Sea King. easixpedro, Youngtiger1, geedubelyer and 13 others 12 4
Out2gtcha Posted November 11, 2024 Posted November 11, 2024 Awesome! I'll definitely be dropping some cash for this one......... A 1/32nd Sea King? Arguably one of the biggest holes in LSP rotor wing models. Stevepd, Tomcatfreak, Jan_G and 2 others 4 1
