  1. It was me! im glad its gone to someone on LSP. It did go for a lot , i only started it at £5. I hope it arrives OK Thanks
  2. Nothing really its a great kit. accuracy wise , the screen is a bit wide , it doesnt have the twist in the tail fin and the props are a bit narrow , but i built mine oob and it looked great. Less od a faff and cheaper than the ZM one.
  3. Wow looks like HK have progressed on everything. The stressed skin , the decals , and best of all the instructions! Im not really a huge fan of the Havoc , but after seeing the pics i think i need one! I cant comment or care about accuracy though. Nice to see nose weights.
  4. 1/24 Sea Fury.........please!!!!
  5. I have 2 of these and they are great. I havent used them for really detailed work but for general use they are so convenient.
  6. The way i see it is , The minute i walk out of a shop with a model i either build it or in most cases , like a new car , its now used so worth less. If i sell something now i usually start it at 99p and it sells for what it sells for. 8 out of 10 times im happy with the result. Ebay UK certainly has become a silly price place though.
  7. Well i really dont know what to say about this. This is just modelling on another level , its mind blowing. I really love seeing styrene being turned into something that basically looks like a resin detail set! This really does look like a real miniature H34. You Sir are an artist.
  8. Im fine with close up work. I have superhuman close up eyesight...........i just see bugger all past about 5 inches , without my glasses that is!
  9. Saw on the facebook page this morning that Carolyn Grace has been killed in a car crash in Australia. An Amazing woman who will be sadly missed, Condolences to the family. I only received my decals for spitfire ML407 OU-V yesterday too. I remember the documentary "the perfect lady" about her husband Nick rebuilding the Spitfire. She kept it flying all these years. Im sure it will be even more special to the family now. Blue skies Carolyn
  10. Peter , i think you have covered the only thing i have found wrong so far. The UC selector decal is far too small in the kit. Its about 50% small.
  11. I think i may need to get a second one at some point , a grey/green USAF one with the red spinner needs building!
  12. I must admit , i did start mine today. I was supposed to be building a Viggen for someone , but this got in the way. I wasnt going to do a WIP though like i used to.
  13. From what i have read , the pilot of the b-17 was on his last flight before retiring.
  14. Just seen the videos , thats truly horrific. My deepest sympathies to the family , friends and crew. texas Raiders was one of my all time favourite b-17s So Sad
  15. Wow can you imagine an Airfix 1/24 one , that would be mind blowing!
  16. Yes i paid what i thought was alot for mine a few weeks ago. Turns out it wasnt too much! Great kit , im just wating for my boy to go back to school , then i can paint it! Still cant believe theres been no new 1/32 plastic one yet!
  17. Am i right in thinking Victorious Virgin had no fuselage windows?
  18. Yeah that was very sad news to wake up to. Seemed like a really fun Guy too. I feel for his family and Dave Grohl , first Kurt now Taylor
  19. Liquid gravity is Ok but look up tungsten putty. its used in fishing , but i recently used it in my airfix vampire which didnt have too much room for weight. Worked great!
  20. Thats a good price. I think i paid about £220 for mine when i got it
