I remember reading about that: we tried to sell them the Buccaner, and I believe that the one and only Capt Eric Brown was involved in his then-current job, which was Air Attache, Defence Attache, or something along those lines, to our Embassy.
I've often wondered what a Bucc would look like in Marineflieger colours, now I know as you've beaten me to making a model. And a very nice one too, that's a great model and that scheme looks fine on it.   Are the decals from an F-104 perchance?

And £50 just for the decal sheet. Which is incorrect btw. the roundel on the fin is too small, the white of the roundel should come over the hump at the base of the fin, it doesn't. In fact none of the decals I have seen fit correctly.

After my Phixen FAW.2 I decided on another whif project and came up with......
 

 
Using the old Airfix Buccaneer kit and some F-4J wings. This will be finished in RAF grey/green wraparound scheme.

The Phuccaneer gets its warpaint and ID.

So well integrated, it looks like the RAF had a supersonic Bucc in its inventory!
