Sadly it's not quite that simple. While this would align most of the top section, a significant portion of the bottom forward section would then sweep down onto the fuselage. This could simply be trimmed away, but it would butcher the overall design, which I don't want to do. I've got them sorted for the Welsh kit now, while the V1 decals will work here without modification.

The "Eddie" decal looks like it just needs slightly rotating forwards - top of fin forward, front lower fin down.

I remember reading about that: we tried to sell them the Buccaner, and I believe that the one and only Capt Eric Brown was involved in his then-current job, which was Air Attache, Defence Attache, or something along those lines, to our Embassy.
I've often wondered what a Bucc would look like in Marineflieger colours, now I know as you've beaten me to making a model. And a very nice one too, that's a great model and that scheme looks fine on it.   Are the decals from an F-104 perchance?
