I just started their Kate and it is a fantastic kit, Detail rivals Kotare level of detail. The instructions need help but the detail in the kit is phenomenal. Having the Kate and the Vampire from Infinity HPH will need to up their game to come close to rivaling this kit.

Oh my lets crucify a company for bringing out a much needed kit but not in "The Right Scale" . If scale is such an issue don't buy it simply put. There are plenty of us who are more interested in building such a kit and supporting companies for bringing them forward. I have seen the same argument about 1/48 scale armor, I personally build a subject I like regardless of scale. This whole it has to be in my chosen scale is stupid and not needed. Would you be happier if companies just stopped making kits because they didn't consult you on your wants as far as subject or scale?

So if you don't like 1/35 scale don't buy it. There are plenty of people who are not bent up over what scale a kit is in. Just as bad as the there is only 1 mans scale people and thats 1/72. I build subjects that I like not due to the scale it is I enjoy 1/35 armor but also build 1/48 scale armor and the occasional 1/100 or 1/144. I build primarily 1/32 and 1/48 aircraft but also dabble in 1/144 and 1/72 from time to time. Don't go after a company because they decided to do a kit that isn't in the scale you prefer. Something like a Kate that is well engineered is fantastic especiall as our hobby gets smaller as most of us get older and we have fewer young people joining the hobby.

I've built the Viggen and other than a few spots the construction was actually easier than a Tamiya 1/32 scale kit to include the F-16. I also built the D558-1 as was just as pleasantly
1 hour ago, CRAZY IVAN5 said:While I haven't built the Tamiya F-16 , I have done the Academy F/A-18D which wasn't bad at all FWIW. Tried to build the Revell hornet and fergit about it ! It most assuredly is a mess and a half [ one of the very few kits to beat me]
d by the fit of a resin and 3d cast kit

I love the HGW rivet sets, Used the 1/32 Zero sets a couple of times currently finishing off a 1/48 P-38 with them. I haven't tried either Eduard or Quinta rivets yet

I had it and built it , you are probably better off scratch building it the Wild Hare wasn't worth the cost, To many mistakes or omissions for a product that cost as much as it did.

Other than the additional turret I have masters for most of the stuff almost finished. Some of the YB-40s had a chin turret with 6 .50 s in it. I'm hopefull to have all the masters done before the end of the year.
