Out2gtcha
Yes yes thank you! I am no frog-foot expert either but the 2 seater does look cool........ I am still eagerly awaiting Trumy's 2 seat RAF Jaguar E! Cheers, Brian
Jack
Very nice mr. Song, looking promising, especially the two-seater, but the single seater has some strong "lines" as well. thanks for showing, J. Tony T
Firecaptain
Very nice Song... Hopefully some nice intake trunking will be in order for the Frogfeet......leave the engine(s) out.... And by the way.......how is the work going on the Jaguar? Thanks very much for keeping us "in the loop"
MAK
Very nice Mr. Song but what about the Buccaneer kit? Will it be in 1/32 scale? It's certainly much prettier than the Su-25. MAK

Pfuf
BUY a drawing or build a model that looks like the real thing. Think I go for the last option this is a good looking model. Hope the little details are beter then the eurofighter. johan
jbrundt
Major flaws with it.Take a look: http://www.arcforums.com/forums/air/index....howtopic=205800 I saw that to. I was wondering when it would get around to here..... That said, how about doing away with the gimmicks? Forget about open doors and panels. Leave that to the aftermarket guys. Forget about detailed engine bays, again the aftermarket guys will do that. Spend your time and effort on things the average viewer will see...like intakes. They are obvious and need to be there. Open doors do not. Concentrate on getting the shape/profile correct. That is where you should spend your time and resources. I guarantee that all the "hate" Trumpeter threads would go away completely if they did that one thing.......get the shape/profile CORRECT. I'll say it again: Work on getting the shape/profile correct. 'nuff said.......... Jeff

Radub
I saw that thread on ARC. The drawing that the photo was compared against has some issues. It is impossible to compare a photo taken like that against a drawing. There are way too many errors induced by the camera lens, angle, light, etc. I did something else. I trawled www.airliners.net for a photo taken from an angle close to that of the model picture. The one that comes closest is this: Then I made this picture 50% transparent and I placed it on top of the model photo (scaled to fit). Below is the comparison. Not too bad, in my opinion and it is very likely that the discrepancies that appear in this comparison are most likely caused by the camera and the angle of the photo. Mr Song, you MUST send actual hard samples of the plastic parts to people who understand the subject and can read drawings. Radu
Ads
Nice work Radu ! Yes its impossible to match a drawing to a picture of a kit - but two planes are easier to compare ! well done Yes mr song get the shape right first - the best kits on the market are the right shape no matter what the detail How is the Jaguar coming ? Please lessen the effects of the rivets and the rubber tires - please include plastic ones as well Ads
