BradG
Good stuff mate. There's lots of colour schemes, both civil and military. They were used by a surprising amount of air forces. Zero77

dmthamade
If you know any modern armour builders, they might be able to help with bigger UN markings. Don

BloorwestSiR
Nice choice Erwin. I like the idea of the UN version that you're planning to do. Carl

BradG
Are you going to wet sand it back, or work it back with nail polish remover?

BradG
I'm not sure what you mean. But if it's about the filler.I sand that down with wet-sanding paper. Ah ok. For most putty, you can dissolve it back with acetone nail polish remover if you don't want to sand a lot or you want to preserve detail that you'd otherwise destroy with sandpaper. Out2gtcha
Looks good so far! Painting the plane overall white might not be such a good idea. I gave a coat of satin white yesterday and the Revell Plasto I used to fill the gabs still shows through. Adding more coats won't help .There will still be a colour differance. Will have to come up with a different paintsheme. Could even be a "Luft '46" Every try maybe a white primer out of the rattle can? The Tamiya primer I use always does a wonderful job of covering up such color differences, and you would not have to shoot much actual white color on it to get good saturation as well.
