CANicoll
Hi Jan, Eagerly watching your build as this will be the next Mustang I build, from the Revell kit. Looks amazing and the level of detail you are pulling out of the kit is really awesome - looks great. Can you remind me what paints you are using for the interior green? ThanksChris Jan_G
Jan_G
Having just done that bit, isn't that cockpit assembly clever. Mine slotted itself together beautifully Same here Richard, didn't have any issues so far Eagerly watching your build as this will be the next Mustang I build, from the Revell kit. Thanks Chris, really apreciate for the interior green I'm using Mr. Paint MRP-131 Interior green ANA 611 I'm not sure if it's the best match available with original color but I can live with it jan CANicoll
Jan_G
small progress brassin exhausts are really nice and easy replacement Didn't have any problems with gluing cockpittogether and close the fuselage there will be some filler and sanding needed but nothing significant thanks for looking jan Uncarina, Model_Monkey, Kahunaminor and 6 others

Bomber_County
Absolutely stunning Jan, wish I could build at this sort of pace, I'd have only cleaned up the cockpit components by now.......... Jan_G
Beaconroot
Looking great so far. I do have a question about the markings. What decals sheet has the markings you are going to use? Really like the Hurry Home Honey markings. Jim Root Jan_G

The stuff used is piece of cable braided shield, as far as I remember it's from old iphone power cable On 2/26/2018 at 3:10 AM, Beaconroot said: Looking great so far. Regarding the markings, I still didn't decide whether I will use masks for insignias or decals. For the rest I will go with Zoukei Mura extra set SWS04-D01. It's printed by Cartograf so it should be fine. jan LSP_Kevin, Beaconroot, Uncarina and 1 other
Jan_G
I have added some PE stuff and started to play with PE wheel wells. When I consider that I want to keep central wheel covers closed, I'm not sure if it's worth the effort. brassin propeller assembled. Better and crisp detail overall Unfotunately even it should be the direct replacement of kit part, spinner diamter is 0,5-1mm smaller than the original part. I'm not expert to say in terms of accuracy which one is correct. I have sanded down front engine cowlings to get good alignment and will rescribe some lost panel lines later. thanks for looking jan CANicoll

Jan_G
small update finished wheel wells, the PE stuff makes difference I didn't want to spend more time with detailing it cause it will be mostly hidden by central wheel covers and the wings and fuselage glued together thanks for looking jan Uncarina, MikeMaben, Nick32 and 13 others
Out2gtcha
Wow, the wheel wells turned out excellent looking. The PE parts are noticeably thinner. I do also like the color combo of the NMF and the YZC as well. CANicoll and Jan_G
