blackbetty
normally i love old revell kits, but this thing is a dog. the molds are so worn out that is practically impossible to fit two parts together without modifying them. it also has a strange kind of plastic the car primer i normally use doesnt adhere to very well, even when sanded before application Edited March 28 by blackbetty themongoose, Gazzas, LSP_Kevin and 5 others

blackbetty
i took the wings off again and constructed a crude jig to hold the wings in the right dihedral i used superglue first and then filled the (pretty wide seam) with superthin had to use lots of hot water to straighten the wings i will insert strips of styrene to close the gaps on the bottom and then - you guessed it - putty/sand/putty/sand...... Alain Gadbois
Great work and patience with this kit, but will be rewarded! Drawing the decals is very interesting! How did you make the little sun emblem? Does it have all the rays and face details? Alain blackbetty
