Battletweety Posted January 15 Share Posted January 15 (edited) This was my second crack at a 1/32 aircraft model. The HobbyBoss spitfire is an excellent kit with great fit and good detail. Its far far cheaper than the equivalent Tamiya and I honestly can't imagine I would have produced any better model if I had the Tamiya kit. I settled on the Tamiya XF 81,82,83 series of paints which worked quite well with an Ultimate weathering wash for the panel lines. Its a very enjoyable build and highly recommended if you want to do one in this scale. I couldn't bring myself to weathering it very much as I didn't want to wreck the paintwork, so sorry to disappoint all the realism fans out there.
