That looks rather lovely Ernest, the metallics look excellent.

Thank you Jim and Pete!  The build turned out ok, I consider it one of my 25 cm efforts, i.e. - it looks good from 25 cm+ and most of the areas look good at macro range, but not all of them by far.

Beautiful!

This livery really brings out the clean lines of the Ki-61.

The closed canopy actually is a great choice in this case.

Really thinking of joining with my kit!

Thank you guys!

WOW, very nice NMF, I wish I could.....

Dan.

Thank you Dan!  The NMF turned out decent for a first effort.  There are a couple of spots that are less than perfect though.

It is a very inspiring building for me. I am working on the same type of plane. If you allow me, I will use your idea with the cannons.:D

My work so far:

Thank you gentlemen!

Chuzam Naj, please feel free to use any of the ideas I have executed without asking.  I have no problems with fellow modellers using an idea or technique I have posted; in fact I think it is good when they do as I feel that I have helped someone out as others have certainly helped me out in the past.

Thank you guys!  The paint is drying well (a relief that!) and I should be able to correct a couple of spots that either need I bit of smoothing or a blemish removed and smoothed out.  I can never seem to get a 100% error free primer coat, though this one was close.

Ernest

Isn't that the truth. There always seems to be some blemishes. Your base coat looked fantastic, and inspired me to try again on my Special Hobbies F-80. I have some MRP super silver on backorder but I can't wait it any longer, so I'm going to use the Alclad I have on hand. I hope I can get a NMF close to as nice as yours came out.
