Dpgsbody55 Posted October 6, 2021 Posted October 6, 2021 Nice "what if" model. Heinkel did have something like this on the drawing boards. The He-162C would have had a longer fuselage with the V tail you've modeled, together with swept back wings at 38 degrees which featured pronounce anhedral at about two thirds span. They also had a similar version in the He-162D on the drawing boards with the V tail and forward swept wings. So not quite so "what if" after all. Either way, you've made a nice model. Troy Molitor Posted October 9, 2021 Posted October 9, 2021 Really nice looking. Thanks for sharing this with us. red baron 1
Alain Gadbois Posted October 13, 2021 Posted October 13, 2021 Love this very plausible what-if! The V-tail makes the aircraft look more modern, compared to the boxy twin original. Alain red baron 1
