1/32 Revell Mosquito Question

Just a quick question to you guys.

 

What do you think about Revell's (old mould) Mosquito? Is it a decent enough kit to build? I would like to do the Bomber version and also the Fighter Bomber version. If i go down the FB version route (cannot afford Tamiya prices), what extras would i need to make it one? Obviously i'd need some sort of nose correction kit. But is there any other corrections needed?

In addition to the obvious gun nose, the FB Mosquitos also had a different canopy, with a flat windscreen instead of the V-shaped windscreen of the bombers.  Paragon made a FB conversion that included the cockpit and I believe a vacuform canopy, but it’s long OOP.

I have the Paragon conversion I'd be willing to let go, but have no idea what a fair price would be. Not looking to get rich off it.

Let me check, I have more Paragon products for the Mosquito, as well. Have to get up in the attic and see what's in the box. May take a couple of days.

BTW, what does the Tam kit cost in your neck of the woods? It may be possible to get under that price, but with a lot more work involved in building the kit.

Still requires the Paragon set. This a resin nose only and there is far more to the Mk VI than that.

There are more than a few unused parts in the Tamiya FB.VI kit that point to them some day getting around to releasing a B.IV.   Or at one point had at least considered doing one.
