kkarlsen
Thank you everybody, this was a different build entirely, but I enjoyed it very much...
scvrobeson
Absolutely fantastic detailing and paintwork. Like the gloss finish, not something you see often on military equipment. Is that a gloss coat over the top, or was the initial paint glossy? Matt kkarlsen

kkarlsen
Thanks Guy's. Absolutely fantastic detailing and paintwork. Like the gloss finish, not something you see often on military equipment. Is that a gloss coat over the top, or was the initial paint glossy? Matt Exactly right Matt. I just had to try building something that didn't involve 'olive drab' and exhaust stains! I did some experimenting to get close the real 'whirly birds' finish. I'm really not comfortable doing glossy stuff, but sometimes you just have to venture out of your comfort zone. I ended up using Mr. Paint 'Oxford Blue' with a gloss coat on top...
