Out2gtcha
The GOOD news is my Fly Wessex showed up today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :frantic: :m0152: :yahoo: The BAD news is this is how it looked when the post-woman handed to the GF: The box was not only crushed beyond belief, but obviously sat out in the rain or was in standing water somewhere too: The MORE GOOD news............................ Out2gtcha
...............is that so far, I can find 0 damage, cracks, misshapen parts or otherwise parts as I would expect to be in a new kit save the box itself. Thanks to the way Fly packages their kits, the paper seats instructions and even decals survived the water and crushing (this thing is HUGE BTW!!!) : Even the seperate masks I ordered came unscathed: Really nice looking resin wheels: All in all I think I escaped in good shape with only a misshapen box! wrbrdmech
Sorry to see the postal service continues to disappoint but I'm glad the contents were sealed inside a plastic bag and miraculously wasn't crushed! Glad you got it finally! I'm really enjoying the kit so far. I have a fix in mind for the intake. I'll post more as I work on it. -Shane Out2gtcha

LSP_Kevin
Glad to see the kit itself was unscathed, Brian. And I'm amazed at how large it is! But I think some of the blame has to be levelled at the sender, who really needed to more to protect it that wrap it in brown paper. That actually is a box though (with more packing material in it surrounding the kit box) , it apparently just got SO wet and crushed it resembles nothing like a box at this point. Tony T
Glad it's all okay Brian. Yes, the box is a bit "waffer theen". Tony Kagemusha and Out2gtcha
Bruce_Crosby
Hi Guys, I picked up Scale Warship's rotor fold set at Telford. It's really nice and I thank them for such a timely release. My only complaint is the instructions are poor. Small pictures and some words but it cries out for some three view drawings. The words mention cutting rods and glueing them in place but no picture. Where the blade holders actually fit is very vague. The exhaust pipes were on view but not on sale. I'm already saving the pennies. They also mentioned a method for making the air intake grille which sounded good to me, so again I'm saving the pennies. And for those of you who haven't seen the Fly Wessex yet, it's b****y good.
