tigger
Hi Guys just finished today in under 4 weeks straight from the box. i had the pleasure of building this kit before it is on general release and I have to say i thoroughly enjoyed this kit from start to finish. She will be the subject of a build review in a forthcoming issue of Model Airplane International. This is the reason for only one image as otherwise anyone buying the magazine will feel cheated seeing the same images as here! Hope that you like her? Vandy 1 VX 4
Love that look. Why no wing-top spoilers? Thank you. Sincerely, Mark They work with the ailerons. As the Ailerons are in neutral they stay down, Like on the P-61 Blackwidow. https://www.google.com/search?hl=en&site=imghp&tbm=isch&source=hp&biw=1708&bih=761&q=ov-10+bronco&oq=ov-10&gs_l=img.1.1.0l10.26000.29072.0.32209.5.5.0.0.0.0.94.411.5.5.0....0...1ac.1.58.img..0.5.404.fHVKxKfblac#facrc=_&imgdii=_&imgrc=Txe3FGTjPfegFM%253A%3B9_KBOItVKtvWRM%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fupload.wikimedia.org%252Fwikipedia%252Fcommons%252F9%252F93%252F20100627_OV-10_Bronco_Krakow_1163.jpg%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fcommons.wikimedia.org%252Fwiki%252FFile%253A20100627_OV-10_Bronco_Krakow_1163.jpg%3B2542%3B1688 As in the above link photo. You can see the Starboard wing Aileron is deflecting up.Also the spoilers are starting to pop up to John Lovely work on your Bronco. Out2gtcha
Great stuff John!Danny is correct. Normally you would never see the spoilers on the ground when the controls are left neutral. However, sometimes they will have the aileron/elevator control lock on, which is basically just a strap that keeps elevators in an up position and the ailerons rolling to the starboard: I too will have mine deflected down/unseen......................OR (have not decided yet in this early stage of the build) I will put in the "lock" on. Have not decided yet, but most of the in service military OV-10s have their locks disengaged when on the ground, as I think its just a PITA for the crew everytime they park. It seems the lock is more often used on civi/firebomber OV-10s than military ones. Vandy 1 VX 4
Phartycr0c
That is one lovely aircraft. The wallett will be a screaming come release date. On that note, when is it released in the UK?
