OldTroll Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 Wingnut Wings has changed the Salmson 2A2 status to "Coming Soon" and says it will be released mid-December. sandokan and Alburymodeler 2
Hagar Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 Should be interesting to build. Wonder what schemes they will have. James
Tnarg Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 There were quite a few US squadrons that used the Salmson, as well as Polish, Czech, Japanese and Greek post WWI, so we can hope to see some of them as well as the French squadrons. Sounds great to me. Tnarg
LSP_Mike Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 I amy not be here for Christmas, but it is another solid entry into the 1920s aircraft scene. The first company to get there methinks.

Guest Dekenba Posted November 22, 2013 Posted November 22, 2013 Hooray! Hopefully some SPAD's and Nieuports will follow.
OldTroll Posted November 26, 2013 Author Posted November 26, 2013 WNW has added the instruction booklet (minus the color schemes) to the website. Looks like cowling and camera options and a beautiful engine just waiting for the super-detailers to wire and plumb. Hopefully a couple of the schemes will be U.S squadrons.
DougN Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 I wonder if there will be another "secret" kit released with it, or just the Salmson this time Doug
Fred Jack Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 Although WnWs doesn't show the markings, they do have most of the instructions on their site.
Fred Jack Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 They always have had a secret surprise for us to go gaga over and rob a convience store to get.
Guest Dekenba Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 They will also launch something from left field before Christmas - a Curtiss Jenny would go down a storm in the USA I think.
petrov27 Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 fingers are crossed they do a surprise release - I guess we will know pretty soon (or not!)
LSP_K2 Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 Well, the AEG G.IV, Late Bristol Fighter and DH.9a (late) are still listed as "in development", so perhaps one of those three?
