Thomas Lund
I have the PCM Hawker Hurricane and it's a really nice kit. True, the price of this new kit might discourage some modelers from buying it, but I'll include myself in the list of potential buyers as I love the Tempest regardless of it's price! Roll on! I'll get one for sure. I have built 3 PCM kits and I loved it.
nmayhew
Err is this thread meant to be about the SPECIAL HOBBY kit? Maybe the PCM one should have its own thread? Oh that's right...it does! Artful69

Oh that's right...it does! ... lol ... thread titles don't mean s*** anyway ... there should be odd's given through TAB or some such for how many posts are made before a thread goes off topic!! ... still - at least it's a Tempest! SJL
Interesting to note the concern regarding the engine. I've looked after 3 Sea Furies and very little is visible of the engine from the front. It woulds be the closest cowled engine I've seen and a proper bugger to retrieve anything dropped down there.
phoenix 54
But I would KNOW !!! :-) Ahh, but Thomas, who is making the kit? They HAVE to leave something for the aftermarket boys. WHO will be first to build the Mk.II with ALL the cowling panels open? Paul
Kagemusha
WHO will be first to build the Mk.II with ALL the cowling panels open? Not sure if the cowl panels are correct, but the engine is http://www.mcssl.com/store/fishermodels/sea-fury-cowl-engine-set

scvrobeson
Guess I'll just build both Tempests. Means I can do the Special Hobby one in the NMF scheme since my PCM one is already getting invasion stripes. Matt
