  1. Yes Thierry, you are correct it is different, but it does have a Shark Mouth. I just noticed that my first post is missing some text as I posted from my phone. I just edited my post to include what I thought I typed originally.
  2. CAM Decals also have a sheet for it -
  3. Photos are not of the same scheme above, but there was an F-4E that had a Shark Month. Sorry that scheme is incorrect!
  4. Stress skin is shown on the wings during wartime factory images. There was an image published in a magazine that showed this. Wingnut Wings had this image on their booth on display at Telford too.
  5. I thought the stencil face side was normally used facing into the interior of the component and not seen? Are there any photographs showing the stencils on the outer side of the aircraft?
  6. I will be doing a D-Day bird. Not sure what yet!
  7. Should have told me you wanted one Anthony! I would have picked it up in Telford for you. I got one too... No Shipping and Customs Fees
  8. Use boiling water to fix that. Tape the wings leading edge to a steel ruler, boil some water and put the wing in a large container with the water and allow it to cool naturally.
  9. Has this news been publicly announced by Revell? If not, I would take it with a grain of salt, as you could be spreading false rumour! False rumours could hurt sales, and imagine if there were rumours about Fundekals? I bet you wouldn't be happy!
  10. I did mine free hand... Its a pretty easy camo scheme to do actually. Just work with low pressure and build it up. Excuse the old image! I do need to take a better one that isn't hosted on Photobucket!

    HK Lanc review

For those that have read Jereon & Cees review on LSM already, but not in the last 24 hours... They have just updated the original post with more content. Turrets and Bombays are now covered. They are already working on the next lot of info for the update. https://forum.largescalemodeller.com/topic/6004-hk-models-132-avro-lancaster-mk1-part-1/
  12. You will find that numbness and the sting will take a while to fully disappear. It's a nerve injury so it can take up to 8-12 months for your nerve to fully recover. From memory, it took about six months for my nerve to heal.
  13. I can relate everything you are going through at the moment and how it affects every aspect of life. Some people already know over the last two years have been living with chronic back pain and I've had two spine operations this year. I only got the staples removed today from my second op 15 days ago. So I wish you the best of luck, listen to what the Surgeon says and don't push yourself even if you feel great. Take all the time you are given to heal, and enjoy the time off. The first 10 days I didn't do much except watch TV & Movies and playing Xbox. It wasn't around 2-2 1/2 weeks where I could sit at the bench again for short periods of time, I managed to build a 1/35 Tamiya M10 Tank during this time. Hopefully, this op will address everything and you don't need to go in a second time like me.
  14. I got the kit and Telford and only looked at last week, and I was thinking the same thing. You would only need a few sprues to make a second one!
  15. I would be interested in a set for the B-24 for sure... Also, there could be a market for larger scale turrets standoff piece.
  16. Oh yes, I will be interested in this... Hoping to pick up a B-24 at the right price, as I know I will be spending more on AM than the kit!
  17. I am sure most of you are in the same position... Trying to finish those last projects for 2018! I just managed to knock this one off a few moments ago that I started back in March. As per normal.. Family life, work and another round of back surgery have keep me busy. Having some free time today, I picked this one up an managed to finish it was it was pretty much weathering that I had to complete. It's my 4th Tank I have ever built. Tamiya's 1/35 Jagdpanzer IV /70 Lang. Built from the box, but I did use Kaizen tracks. Painted using Mission Models Paints, Camo was painted free hand. and weathered using AK Interactive Washes and Pigments.
  18. So I have been pointed to an Starboard image of it belly landed... And of course the engine cowl is up and someone is standing in the way... But something is there. Is a stain or an Angel??
  19. Hey all, Since I have a few weeks off work after having surgery, I am looking at pulling out my Trumpeter P-40B and building it as Flight Leader Robert Smith's, Hawk 81 of the 3rd. PS, American Volunteer Group, Kunming, January 1942. I have seen a few profiles with the Hells Angel on both sides of the fuselage. I have the Cutting Edge decal sheet, but they only supply the one Angel on the port side. I haven't found any images as of yet showing that area of the starboard side... Whats peoples thoughts on this? Should there be two Angels or one?
  20. Funny how people complain when Trumpeter includes them, but nothing is said when Tamiya includes them in there kits. Same with the PE hinges for flying surfaces.
