Loic
Holly crap !! Looks like I have exedeed my bandwidth on photobucket !! Guys, I am affraid you will have to wait for a few day to be able to get the previous pics back on screen... For now, I will use my better half account to keep you guys updated Well, looks like all the main parts of the engine are done (unless I missed something ?) ! What I need to do now is check the quality of each part and do the expected touch up here and there as the parts must be as perfect as possible. That is rather important because I can now tell "the world": thanks to the help from our very own Derek I was linked to Grey Matter Figures. They will indeed cast the engine and put it on the market ! Needless to say I am all over about this news and I now feel a lot of pressure on my shoulders... but that feels good So... guys, I only hope you may think this could possibly be a great addition to your future RoG or even ZM He-219 and if so, on top of everything else, I hope you will like it ! I want to thank again: - Mattlow for his continous help on this project, he knows more about DB engines than a man can know - Derek for his technical help and for connecting me with GMF - Tim Skelton (aka Mouldman here on LSP) from GMF for the trust he has put in this project (hope I wont disappoint) Next steps will be to check the parts as mentionned above, complete the pre assemblies and ship to Tim for casting. Then, we should hopefully get a test shot assembly on this thread Thanks for following and for continous kind words and encouragements guys!! Talk to you soon !! Talk to you soon !! The pleasure was all mine Loic - I recognised very early on that you had the potential to become an outstanding master pattern maker, so I was only too happy to offer you encouragement with the hope that you would find it within yourself to develop. Modellers such as you are our future AM specialists, so your talents need to be appropriately appreciated - hence my introduction for you to GMF. I shall continue to strive to advise and help any modeller to the best of my ability in the interests of developing the enjoyment and self confidence of that modeller in his or her hobby - if they should so request it. I have learned many things over many years - and thankfully, am still gratefully learning new things from other modellers - so I feel no compunction to hold back on anything I know when passing on advice to others - I learn freely, so I shall give freely. I am very impressed with this, your first pattern - I hope that you prime it with paint (which is what you should do any way, as it is prefereable for the caster to have it that way), then all of that magnificent detail will really stand out! I wish both you and Grey Matter Figures much success with this engine, and I am certain that now started, the Loic master pattern train will not stop!
