Lud13
Hello all !!! After little less than three months Tomahawk is finished. Build was quite straight forward out of box except for the Eduard seat belts. Fit was generally very good, and i am very happy with the model quality. There was only minor need for putty. Model is painted with Model master enamels which worked as a charm. But than the disaster struck. I was to build RAF 112sqd machine with shark mouth but the decals simply disintegrated into million peaces. Still determent to make the same bird i find another set of decals from other manufacture but ended in the same fate !!!. Than i finally give up and went for other option on the first decal sheet. Sure enough the lion with wings decal also cracked at few parts but somehow manage to put it together. Still left to do is position lights but simply had not the nerve to finish them today.... All in all the model is far from perfect and i am aware i will never achieve the level of quality u guys show here, but it was fun to build it and at the end that is the point Special thanks go to Chris (CSVAGLIO) for providing me with first the part for cockpit and than with decals. Thx Chris :) So here it is ...the Tomahawk MkIIA from SAAF in Libya flown by F/O Aitken

LSP_Kevin
Great result Dejan, even after all your trouble with the decals. I must admit, and early P-40 without the shark mouth does look a little odd! Kev

LSP_Ron
Looks great Odd you had such difficulty with that decal sheet. I've built the same kit using that decal set and it worked well. Was yours an old sheet?
dodgem37
Love this bird from my early Monogram P-40B days, and have always loved the desert scheme. Good show. Sincerely, Mark
