So I think I'm calling this one quits.  Added the underwing pitot tube and IFF antenna, on the topside, I added the whip antenna.    In retrospect - I enjoyed the build immensely and I pushed my personal boundaries by doing a hard edge camo scheme, which I've always stayed away from.    On the downside, I do regret not painting on at least the national insignias.    I was pretty happy with the smaller decals, they went down fine.  Oh well, lesson learned.    Cudos to Laminar Flow, they are pushing the state of the art in our industry, can't wait to see what the next subject will be (my vote is for an F4U-4 conversion of the lovely Tamiya -1D kit).    Anyway, here are a few final pictures, when I get around to it, I'll put up a RFI post.    Thanks for all the great comments and support, it really means a lot guys.

I see I need to secure the tape MG port cover.  No biggie, I'll get that done.

That's a tremendous result John.

I'm a big fan of your weathering. It takes courage to weather a model to this degree and skill to pull it off successfully. Well done

Thanks for sharing this lovely model. Looking forward to the RFI

Cheers,

Guy

That’s a superb representation of a beautiful aircraft. I’m a huge fan of your finishing skills John.

Seems odd that one of the big boys hasn’t done a large scale Griffon Spit, so hoorah to Mathieu and his Laminar Flow for making it possible.
