NE Resin A-4m Skyhawk intakes 1/32

Hello I am happy to announce that I am in the final stages of working on a set of intakes for the 1/32 Trumpeter A-4M

Sometimes it is hard to see the Forest through the trees ,I just realized that I have the shape of the bottom of the intake wrong and it is something I need to correct,i did not see this tell I made my

post.

Have no fear I will correct it will be beautiful.

Nice work!  The upper and lower edges should have quite a radius on them also...not a sharp corner.  I can post a photo after work

Nice progress. Would be next level if they feature realist trunking on the inside, which the kit doesn’t do at all…

Difficult to tell from the photos, but there should be a prominent “bulge” on the P-408 powered Skyhawks’ intakes.

Marcel, that picture is of a Wright J65 powered Skyhawk. Those NACA vents weren’t present on the later Pratt & Whitney powered Scooters.

Thx, I didn’t know that. That said, I was trying to show how the trunking rapidly turns towards the centreline, which is not at all the case on the kit intakes.

I have been working on trying to get the right profile on the intakes for a while and I think I have it . I didn't want to over  exaggerate it

Looking pretty good. You might want to add the missing refuelling light on the starboard intake with its associated access panel, which Trumpeter completely missed
