  1. Love it. First class work and of course a great subject. Well done.
  2. Nice looking model and well presented. It's so easy to overdo these types of aircraft and you captured the look very well I think. Well done.
  3. These machines got pretty beaten up in continual service and I think you captured it very well on your model. Thanks for sharing and I enjoyed viewing your pics. Well done.
  4. Well they have to start somewhere..... right. I have the kit but as yet it's sitting in the stash awaiting some new decals. For me the Me410 is very much long overdue and I would suggest looking at Z-M in the future for this one. No insider info here but it would be a 'logical' Luftwaffe twin for them to do after the Me109 and Fw190 are done. Just sayin'.
  5. I wonder if they'll stick to WWII subjects for a while. If they do, I hope they take a look at the twins as well. Bristol Blenheim, BP Defiant etc. If not, a lot of fifties jets are still not out there, I'd like a Meteor F8 amongst many others and I'd guess they'd be quite popular too. Oh to be a fly on the wall eh. Good luck to them anyway.
  6. By most accounts after chatting to a few traders this year it seemed that they were mostly very happy with their returns at this years Telford. One trader was VERY happy with his sales and even said it far exceeded his expectations. Sunday was quieter but still active albeit in 'waves' on the day. Generally I think the feeling was more positive than negative and yes we did really miss our European friends but I'm confident as things settle down we will see more people attending from there. The show will be back to full size next year and as I understand it more than 40 traders who did not attend the 2021 show have confirmed their commitment to attend for 2022. Three non U.K clubs attended this year and said that the journey and entry was relatively trouble free. Let's hope that continues into the future. Incidentally, lovely to see so many friends again after two years of isolation. Keep the models coming, the tables were loaded down with some fantastic projects and they just blew me away. Happy days.
  7. I'm greedy and I want the Lansen too..........the Draken has always been on the top of my must have models in 1/32 scale. I wonder how many versions we'll get from this project.
  8. It'll be interesting to see how many modellers who hung back for this kit will now actually buy it. I doubt many will buy it at that price and I'm happy with my HK version anyway so I won't be one of the lucky few to get one. Hope they stick with 1/32 scale though even if it disappoints them on hoped for sales.
  9. I'm pleased that this project is still alive and I wish Danny the best of luck with it's eventual release. I was just talking about this a couple of weeks ago with a good friend of mine, hoping it was still possible. When you make this investment and it's just sitting somewhere, not recouping it must be very frustrating for him. However I'm still waiting patiently like everyone else here, the experts say the shipping system might reset itself in 2023 so let's hope. .
  10. Look's great and yes nice to get the shows going again. Nice to see a few new additions too.
  11. LOVELY, where's the Westland Wyvern though.............me wants when it comes. Look's like they are indeed running down that list they showed some time back. Happy days.
  12. They have an ambition to release them in October 2021 so let's see how they get on. I'll be getting a good number of them for sure. Happy days.
  13. Agreed. I've also asked them for some Russian WWII twin engine subjects too. Tu-2 or Pe-2 anyone. Anything Soviet AF would be great. Fingers crossed.
  14. A nice Mk V would be very nice to follow up on the 1a and I do hope they consider the naval versions too. Yes, also a nice Hurricane series too would please a lot of people, well it is Battle of Britain day today so why not give it a mention.
  15. I remember Trumpeter making the announcement from the outset that any aircraft subjects they chose would include as many variants as they could. This appears to be happening both in the past and recently. The one subject that is still incomplete for me are the Harriers. I hope that they put that right over the coming years, I would love a Sea Harrier FRS1/FA2 in the future. Of course a GR1/GR3 would also be very acceptable too. Fingers crossed.
  16. With all that lovely detail I wonder if they'll give the option of some clear plastic to show it all off.
  17. I have this trolley kit and I can't recommend it enough, the quality is outstanding. Enjoy.
  18. I'd like them to do something totally new in 1/32 scale, there's still plenty of scope out there. A project for some later mark Spitties would go down very well with a lot of modellers I think. I hope they get bolder later on and consider some new twin engine aircraft too.
  19. I'd like to add my best wishes for their success too. Maybe they might consider mixing up the eras as they progress. Nothing like sticking the toe in the water with a popular subject to see if it's a winner eh. Good luck to all anyway.
  20. Do we need a new or existing company to sell us some new canopies in resin or vac for kits of all scales. Is there a big enough market for them even.
  21. I agree with your comment on that, however, how long is it since they released the 1/48 scale F-89 Scorpions as an example here. How long is long as regards enough time to clear existing stocks. Perhaps if it's financially viable why not do smaller production batches to clear them quicker. Just a thought.
  22. Looks like Revell have set up some deals with them, maybe it won't be that long before we get the car door Typhoon then, if they pump some money into the tooling. Fingers crossed. I also think SH said after the 1/32 Tiffie, the Hawker Sea Fury would be next in line if memory serves well.
  23. Well if it is of any interest when I spoke to them in 2019 I suggested they take a look at doing the entire family of 51's. In particular the A/B/C versions and they were not averse to it. I was told that they'd already had discussions about them. So, no guarantees, but it seems at least someone has thought about the idea which at least should give some hope for the future no matter how small the chances.
  24. The one thing we can rely on is ICM's predilection for surprises. From 30's trainers to an AH-1G Cobra is one big side step. I expect more of that from this company as it gains more confidence in producing models in our scale. With the demise of two major manufacturers in our scale I do hope that it'll step into those empty shoes for us. Fingers crossed.
