  1. Unfortunately, I think you're stuck with the Y Launcher from what I can see in my kit Cheers, Mark
  2. This is looking fantastic now it has some paint on. Regarding Paint, I have got a tin of Xtracolor X138 ADC Grey for when I need it. Just need a 1/32 F-106 to use it on..... By the way I listened to this recently and found me wanting to build an F-106 After.... Thought I'd share it as it will be good inspiration while working on this. https://www.fighterpilotpodcast.com/episodes/106-f-106-delta-dart/ Cheers, Mark
  3. Reskit have some exhausts in the pipeline for the Tamiya Phantom. I have no idea how accurate they are but have been pleased with the Mirage 2000, F-15 and Tornado ones I've purchased so far.
  4. I have one of these and think this thread is becoming a benchmark build for this kit. I can't unsee that 6mm you've removed from the windscreen area now! Quick question is the fact the kit doesn't have full lenght intakes noticable? Cheers, Mark
  5. This is coming along nicely. I purchased a resin printer last year and have started to produce some nice components for some of my older kits and this is seriously making me consider an FDM printer as thre are a couple of projects I'd like to do myself now I'm getting the hang of CAD.
  6. GLad to hear about this product and have ordered a set. I need to get my F-4J off the shelf of doom and finish it.
  7. That was a great article. I have the Skyraider and its a great kit. Every year at telford one of the first things I do is visit their stand and complete the survey (and ask for a 1/32 Hawker Hurricane as I think it would be a good contender for the ZM Treatment). And admire the kits on display and in development. I return for the rafffle (and never win a prize). At the last telford (2019) they had to hold the raffle in another room as I think it caused too much disruption in the past and the Old Man gave a talk and it was great hearing his philosophy around the way they do their models. The HS.129 is the next one of their range I want to buy. I wish I had the space to organise my stash as well as he has. Cheers, Mark
  8. I've been looking at my Mirage 2000C and have noticed that it doesn't come with full length intakes and I was wondering how noticable this is on the finished model? The Reskit burner can is worth a look as I got one for mine and it's impressive compared to the kit parts.
  9. Combining the traditional modelling skills of vac form with 3d printed parts is genius and you're making some great progress.
  10. Some nice CAD work here. I have been learning CAD and have designed a few components up to now but hope to work up to designing a complete aircraft.
  11. I think that was the Spitfire VBs that were still on strength in 1944 with cropped impeller blades and clipped wings for low level combat.
  12. Q-M-T also do a set of resin exhausts sold for the Revell kit but I've purchased a set for my Tamiya Phantom and they fit and look a lot better due to being a larger diameter.
  13. Hi everyone, long time lurker and admirer on this forum but this is my first post. I recently purchased an A-7E Corsair and was expecting to find metal landing gear in the box. Unfortunately, they are missing from the kit. I checked the instructions and found white stickers had been placed over the metal parts in the parts map and a similar thing had been done to the steps in the instructions where you are offered a choice of metal or plastic. This seems to me that Trumpeter have made a decision to exclude metal parts from the list. Has anyone else experienced this? This is a little disappointing as I feel metal legs are probably required on this model to hold it up but I suppose it opens a gap in the market to companies offering metal landing gear. Cheers, Mark
