These are quite handy, especially the last one with technical drawings of the systems. -

FII was built as a NF MkII but never had the radar fitted, still retained twin lights on wingtips and tail so designated FII, and from what i.ve read they were unable to carry wing stores. I also noted some with no mesh on the intakes also the mix of shrouded un-shrouded exhausts, narrow and paddle prop blades. Darren -

Some nice pictures here, but when based at RAF Leuchars, good for seeing how worn they got. http://axis-and-allies-paintworks.com/e107_plugins/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?13611 Will follow your build with interest as i was planning on doing the same with my Mossie but an early FII (maybe no Gee fitted) or 3E or 3H. Thats why i posted those pictures, the intake faces are not larger on British Phantoms, but larger further back due to the Spey engine being bigger. Darren

-
I have 3 of these kits(in various states,i'm not likely build them), you can build the GR1 or GR3 straight from the box, the Sea Harrier is the same kit but with extra sprue for the revised front end and canopy, so no GR canopy included. Cheers Darren

Having read about all the errors in the kit, i was wondering if the turrets on this would be more accurate than supplied in the kit? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/B-24-J-Liberator-huge-paper-card-model-102cm-wingspan-1-33-scale/223418988956?hash=item3404cf399c:g:aokAAOSwDk5UHqKU Just a thought Darren

Hi Folks Sounds like fun so count me in as a recipient. i don't have much in the stash to donate but i'll donate a Revell Tornado ECR Darren
-
Mmmm that'll will be then, Lurking around for a while, but very few posts. Honestly not had time for modelling in the last 18 months, hoping to get something started over the winter. Cheers Darren

Very nice , one strange thing is your Lifelike decals, the artwork background decal is yellow in my set its a pinkish colour yet the instructions say it's a blue grey background colour!!!....so it looks like Lifelike are sending out decals with different colour but the one required. Darren

Kitty Hawk's OV-10 A/C Main Wing Update 9/8/2017
madmusky replied to Joel_W's topic in Works in Progress
Hi Joel Great work on the pit, been following along for tips just a pity it's taking so much work. I was hoping it was going to be a fall together type of kit, but as your proving it certainly isn't that, so much so I thought I can't be bothered with the hassle just sell it on but since I've always had a soft spot for the Bronco I'll keep it in the stash and continue to follow your great work and make some notes for when I do get the nerve to attempt it. Keep going on the good work mate. Darren -
