  1. Hello,

it took me one year to finish this kit and I tried to build it as correct as I could. I used quite a lot of after market stuff, such as the Eduard BIGED, the Avionix sets for the Cockpit, the wheels are Eduard Brassin for the B-25, the engines Brassin for the Corsair. The oxygen bottles in the wheel wells are 3D printed. The markings are painted and the nose art decals are custom made.

    I hope you like it!

    Cheers,

    Bodo

  2. I just shot some photos of the progress of my Black Widow so far.

I choose the Brassin P&W engine supposed for the Tamiya Corsair and the Brassin wheels for the B-25. All photoetched brass is Eduard too. In the back of the wheel well you´ll find a solid wall in the kit, which the real aircraft never had. In that place you would find oxygen bottles. Mine are 3D-printed but will be replaced by some finer printouts later on.

    Every critics are welcome

    Cheers,

  3. Hi everybody,

my current modelling project is the Hobby Boss P-61 Black Widow. I am trying to built her as an "A" model. I am not quite sure which colour sheme I will use as I like the od/neutral gray versions as much as the complete black ones. Maybe I will go for "Skippy" aka "Nocturnal Nemesis".

I bought every aftermarket stuff I could get, which is quite a lot. The first stage of building is now finished and the next step will be painting the interior before closing the fuselage. Yesterday I took some photos of the unpainted model at this stage.

It is not very easy to find reliable resources of some areas of the plane. It is also sometimes confusing what is an "A" or a "B" version because the different resources have different opinions.

So, I tried my very best to build an accurate "A" version but sometimes I had to guess.

Please let me know what you think about it.

    Cheers,

    Bodo

  4. Hello Kevin,

please feel free to publish my photos. It would be great to see them on the Website.

    Thanks,

    Bodo

Another one from the (admittedly recent) archives! Bodo, can I ask your permission to publish your photos on the LSP website?

    Kev

  5. That is gorgeous! Did you use any aftermarket? How did you achieve the paint chipping on the wing roots?

I used the Eduard BIDED and nothing else beside some scratch building. The chipping was done with a Prismocolour silverpencil.

  6. Hi,

encouraged by your kind comments on my other models, here are some pictures of my Trumpeter Dauntless. This is for now the last finished large scale plane I´ve got on my shelf. I´m currently building the Trumpeter F8 Crusader but this will take some time to get finished.

    I hope you like it.

    Greetings from Germany,

  7. Man, its looking sweet !.Are those G-Factor legs, and how do you like them? Are the scissors links kit parts? After seeing these pics, mine staying on the shelf for now....Harv :speak_cool:

    Hi Harvey,

The legs are a combination of kit and Aires parts.

    Cheers,

    Bodo

  8. I finished this one in March and posted it already over at Hyperscale but couldn´t resist to repost as I saw Ron starting one of these. I hope you´re not bored. I used the Aires cockpit and wheel wells, the BIGED and a Trumpeter engine for the P47 with some quickboost parts. The pilot is Ultracast.

    What do you think?

    Greetings from Germany,
