  2. Nice update Kev! Thank you Thierry for your review of the Coleman MB-4, I will be have to add that on to my collection. Congratulations to Vince and Przemyslaw on their beautiful builds!
  3. Welcome Tery! Your Tomcat is looking great! It would be cool to see your work on the HMS Victory - maybe if you get time you could post some to the Non LSP-Works forum... Cheers, Rockie
  4. Having now had a chance for a quick perusal of your new title, a few observations: First, for anyone contemplating tackling the Italeri 104, Chuck's description of the build is very comprehensive and nicely covered in both text and photos. Second, even if you are not a fan of the F-104, if you are interested in producing a natural metal finish with paints, Chuck has given a detailed account of his experiments with Alclad as well as clear coats and a few metallic washes which should prove really useful to you. Those of you who have followed his builds know that Chuck does a great job describing his methods, and the "tutorial" sections in this volume are excellent examples. Finally, as a bit of a Starfighter nut myself, I really like the the extensive walk around section as well as the complete coverage of available (and not so available) aftermarket accessories and decals for the F-104 in "our" scale. Bravo, gentlemen, on an excellent publication! Cheers, Rockie
  5. And purchased. Sadly I have to leave for work now and will have to wait to read it. Thanks Kev and Chuck!
  6. Another terrific build and finish, Niels! I'm afraid I would go blind trying to replicate that camouflage scheme..

  8. Thanks Damian, that was an interesting read. Cheers, Rockie
  9. Great build and finish. You've really brought it to life.
  10. After careful study of that recording, I believe we can conclude that Nesyamun was a model builder. That is exactly the sound I made when the X-acto knife rolled off the bench and buried itself in my thigh.
  11. Wonderful build Piero! Congratulations and thanks for sharing it with us. Cheers, Rockie
  12. Thanks Chuck, for taking us on an another amazing journey. I really enjoyed following along, and must say the result of your work is spectacular. Cheers, Rockie
  13. Great job Scott, love the setup! Did you build the spray booth? I'd love to see the specs on that if you don't mind. Cheers, Rockie
  14. Just spectacular, Peter! Are you and Kev considering another book? Pretty please with sugar on top... Cheers, Rockie
