Vynce804
This one has been a challenge! Great kit that builds up into a very impressive model. The only criticism is the engine which is very difficult to get right but luckily is mostly hidden! Fit of the main components is very good and there is loads of detail but unfortunately much can't be seen. If I had to do it as gain I would lighten the base colour a little be braver with the post shade and not blend this so much. I would also be braver with the oil shading. This build has had 2 firsts for me. Using paint masks which in the end were very straightforward to use and chipping with a silver pencil which I now really like as you get loads of control.Roll on the next build. Hk models b25?CheersMatt Edited July 2, 2017 by Vynce804 red baron, Bruce_Crosby, Bill Cross and 18 others

LSP_Kevin
Terrific build, Matt, and really impressive finish. You should be justifiably proud of it! May I publish it on the website? Kev
IJ001
Very nice indeed, just on the final leg with my Hasegawa 'bubbletop', you'll see that here very soon. Ian. Edited June 29, 2017 by IJ001

Vynce804
Hi Steve, The pilot is from the Hasegawa bubbletop p47. The pilot is designed to have the oxygen mask hanging loose so I modified it to be in place. It wasn't difficult and not something a knife, sanding stick and superglue couldn't handle! This pilot figure is really great and I wish I had a few more! Cheers Matt
