ringleheim
Looks great, John! What would you say about the kit as a whole, having just built it? There is a lot of stuff on the internet saying how the kit is too old and no good, especially in the wake of the recent Meng 1/32 kit. Your photos show that this kit is obviously capable of turning out a really nice looking model. Just curious if you would recommend it or what your general thoughts on the kit are. Plasto
Hi, I've built 3 of the Hasegawa classic kits, the Spitfire VI the Bf 109E and this Komet. All of them built up really well and effortlessly. They are all older kits so detail and finesse is not up to modern standards. The Komet I think can turn out a nice model. I haven't seen a Meng Kit in the flesh. My personal view is the old Hasegawa kits are nice models to build and paint and perhaps not go too crazy in detail and Aftermarket but you get a feel for 1/32 for a low cost and viable fun along the way.. ringleheim
