1to1scale
Finishing up some painting details, and put all the flying surfaces on, now it looks like a Mustang rather than a featherless chicken. Also drilled and painted true details wheels. MikeMaben, Nick32, Cees Broere and 5 others
1to1scale
Clear varnish applied for decals. I did not like how the Vallejo gloss varnish went down! Very orange peely texture, I'll go back to Tamiya in the future. Robthepom
very nice NMF, the panel colours look subtle and very effective, is a gloss black primer not necessary with the Vallejo paints?

If you want maximum metal/refectiveness, then yes, gloss will give you that mirror finish. However, I chose to tone down because I plan on a weathered and matte finish, so I went with the grey primer, which gave an in between finish. I only sprayed gloss for the decals, then I will do a full wash, followed by a matte coat.

Out2gtcha
Wow, cool............the red stripes look great, and will look even better once fully down and trimmed. Great work! Im kind of surprised they went over the top of the serial tail codes.
1to1scale
Yes, I would have preferred them on top, but they definitely painted the red stripes over the top. Uncarina, Out2gtcha and Rick Griewski

1to1scale
I was seriously questioning my choice for decals, this one was way too flashy and clean, but now that I got a matte coat on it, it's looking better, now I just have to weather the crap out of it. johncrow, LSP_Kevin, Trak-Tor and 11 others
