blackbetty
for both the front fuselage has to be widened. i am not yet sure if i will do that on the top or the bottom, i have to fit the new windscreen first see the step here to the old revell fuselage, since the noses are designed for the italeri kit Martinnfb, LSP_Kevin, MikeMaben and 10 others

alain11
Hi For my part, I would do the "surgery" on the bottom,......... to be honest, I would catch up the fuselage/ nose profile with putty, it seems that there is barely 1mm (more or less) between the fuselage and the nose.. I use for this kind of work, putty for body car repair (finishing putty) easy to sand down, can be engraved, it's a bi -component, putty + hardener ... it could be worth considering Alain Edited March 16 by alain11 Alain Gadbois and blackbetty 1

blackbetty
i cut out the fusekage to fit the italeri windshield next.the clearparts are pretty different between the two kit, also the position in notvthe same. i consulted some drawings i had of the mirage, but that only gave my a third position i decided to modify the fuselage for the italeri clear parts, as they are mich nicer (thanx again Alain) and not so sqashed LSP_Kevin, chrish, themongoose and 3 others
blackbetty
it not as easy as it looked before to combine the pit with the fuselage. i used the sidewalls for a proper positioning of the tub there will be a host of modifications to get this to work LSP_Kevin, BradG, Azgaron and 1 other
blackbetty
inbetween drying of the pit parts, i used the petals that Alain sent me with modified innards of the Zipper engine (i used a resin engine there) to get something to remotely render the Atar 9C denders, alain11, Azgaron and 3 others
