Astro32
Greetings everybody! I've been insanely busy with work and some health challenges (long covid). Lately I've been doing car models with what little spare time I have; mainly nostalgia builds. Building kits long since vanished or couldn't get as a kid, after getting the Rat Fink Hairy Eyeball from Dad for asking, has been fun! I've been lurking here on break time but that's it. But recently I purchased a Trumpy Spitfire on floats and the new Airfix Mk IXc just yesterday, both 24th scale of course. Looking forward to doing both. Anyway, I'm back! Duncan Doenitz
You will enjoy the Airfix Spit, after market exhaust stubs are a "must" IMHO. There is an omission in the instructions in that the circular transparency in the compass tray has to be fitted. It's a wonderful kit that you will enjoy building. Rick Griewski
Excellent. Welcome back. I just received a Rat Fink kit from a friend. These ancient beauties are a perfect break from all the seriousness of 1/32 we hash about. Be sure to use spray can paint and hand brush a lot. The Rat Fink is definitely on my "to get" list, and I have an Angel Fink underway right now. Rick Griewski
