Oldbaldguy Posted June 29, 2023 Share Posted June 29, 2023 I’ll admit I had my doubts at first, but, dang, you pulled it off nicely. The last batch of photos reminds me that 18 year old kids routinely rolled under that thing between the main gear and the ventral strakes to hook up the holdback when the airplane was on the cat. They had to wedge themselves into the scant few inches between the deck and that whopping big motor with it practically sitting on their heads, install the holdback pretty much by feel and then un-wedge themselves to get out of the way, all in a matter of seconds.
