LSP_Kevin
Welcome to the On The Nose (Art) Group Build. This will run from March 1st to August 31st 2023. The topic is nose art on any aircraft. The art may be words, numbers, figures, animals, shapes, shark mouths, etc. The bigger, the better. Also the "nose" of the aircraft shall be considered as the fuselage forward of the cockpit, or where the cockpit is at the very front of the aircraft, the fuselage forward of the wing leading edge. The standard rules for Group Eligibility apply: the kit must be less than 25% complete at the time of entry, and must qualify as an LSP kit (aircraft or helicopter, 1/35 scale or larger). Have fun! Dave Williams
What’s the ruling on a AH-1W like this? https://www.scalemates.com/kits/academy-12116-ah-1w-nts-update--1257365 I assume that sharkmouth Cobras, where the sharkmouth encompasses the nose turret, are allowed, but on this one, the large cobra head is under the cockpit, and the tail extends part way down the fuselage, past the wings. Yes that's fine, sharkmouth and cobra markings.
MikeC
Given that this is not an "X-rated" site, where do we stand on, shall we say, the more erotic nose art? I was thinking it was about time "Shady Lady" hit the workbench and I dug a Tamiya P-51D out of the stash. https://www.kitsworld.co.uk/index.php?GOTO=453&PICFILE=453&STKNR=453&STRH=&ORDN=&RNZ=460004&THISVIEWMODE=2&SUPPLIER=&FINDRETR=&WIDENET=&CATEGORY=3&SUB=4&VWW=1&VANCE=

But we can always move it to the WiP forum at the end if you don't make it. Kev KUROK
Sabre F-86
Is it allowed to enter the same model in two group builds? I have a Hasegawa P-51D, with nose art. If not I'll put it into the Hasegawa group.
