Land Cruisers! (And a Hilux)

On it’s way to me from Japan.

’90 Hilux 5 speed 4WD right hand drive diesel.

Might not look like much now, but once I run it through the body and paint shop, should clean up nicely.

timing belt, filters and pads get checked on landing.

Wheels and tires too I guess-

The Japanese Domestic market trucks are the coolest..which means I’ll be on the correct side of the road, but on the wrong side of the truck!

 

…and yes; US vehicles are left hand drive.

Have you heard of the Aussie motor called the Barra? (Barramundi).  I saw a L/cruiser conversion kit for one recently. Stock bottom ends are getting 400hp +. Boosted systems easily 1000hp and 2000hp not unheard of.  A ford inline 6.
