Thanks Jim!    Very kind of you. I too am hoping someone has the kit, and can either loan the part out to make a copy, or possibly donate if they don't need it

No worries at all, I believe we can overcome this obstacle. Like I said, even just some dimensions would help, no need for anyone to “part with a part” as it were.

Now we’re getting somewhere! Good for you Chris for finding Supermarios build. Looks like Richard has done what I did and gone in and borrowed some photos. I grabbed a few dozen of his images. AND - Lee in Texas! You have the part! I think we can make this happen now for our friend Chris. If you are willing to send me the part that would be amazing. If you’re not comfortable doing that, some dimensions from hole to hole would be great. And a photo of the other side of the part as well - I have yet to see it except in one of Supermarios photos where it’s an oblique view of the opposite side. Lee I’ll PM you my address if you are game.

Thanks all!

Thanks to all; as Lee and I chatted to each other in PM, we are both curious to see that we can work this out. I’m quite confident that we can, thanks to the generosity of members like Lee and all who participated. Chris we will get you sorted indeed!

What a great bunch of people we have here.

I've read about a couple of great assists including this one, and have been the recipient of an assist that I thought was seemingly impossible.

Kindness that's travelling the globe, it's  wonderful to see. Long may it continue.
