AdamR
There aren't any. Not included in my kit, anyway. Has anyone heard of other people finding this omission in their kits? Rick Griewski
AdamR
Found the instructions. Embarrassing. Somehow, they had managed to stash themselves in my old F4U-1A box. How they got there, only the Carpet Monster knows. I had turned the shop upside down looking for the sheet, and I was looking in the old box for that kit's sheet, just to see what it looked like. There was the new sheet, right on top. Rick Griewski, LSP_K2, MikeMaben and 1 other
1to1scale
Lol, I found a missing part to one kit in another box.
Model_Monkey
The carpet monster has caused many a hair to turn grey. Well, out of pride, I will admit to silver rather than gray.
LSP_Ray
I did the same with a HC F4u kit (re-boxed Trumpeter). Looked everywhere for the damn profiles. I don't remember what made me finally look at the box bottom... WHAT IDIOT PUTS INSTRUCTIONS ON THE BOX BOTTOM??!!??? OK, I feel better now... williamj
Have found a whole new kit having no memory of it's purchase....like a Christmas present. So pathetic. another is being on cruise control while I toss perfectly good, usable items in the dust bin. MikeMaben and LSP_K2
Rick Griewski
This cracks me up! Yesterday.... I just knew I owned one extra resin wheel well for the P-51D and one for the Alison engine variants. Well it turned out that Mr. brain-of-a-forgetful-squirrel, stashed both and one other Alison taped to the JR P-51B in its kit box. That makes three plus the one that Jerry included with the kit. Now that I am retired and catching up on bench time I am discovering deep secrets buried in the stash. No extra WNW kits however. BloorwestSiR
I found a complete, unassembled RC car kit, box and all inside the larger box of another RC car. I still don't know when or where I bought it from. Still haven't put it together yet either. Carl LSP_K2 and williamj
MikeMaben
I had turned the shop upside down looking for the sheet, ...and how many times did you say to yourself " I KNOW they're in here SOMEPLACE ! " ? williamj, AdamR and Rick Griewski
Gigant
Ever notice that you only find things in the last place you look?
Juggernut
It's always in the last place you look because after you find it, you don't look any further.
LSP_K2
I have a rather nasty habit of always working on a half dozen different projects at the same time, and can't tell you how many times I've found parts, aftermarket, decals (and even tools), in boxes they didn't go with.
