HpH conversion set 1/32 MiG-23BN is officially out

On IPMS Nymburk Mr. Å ebesta announced that HpH company is preparing 1/32 MiG-23BN conversion set for Trumpeter MiG-23ML.

Updated 7.9.2018 : According to IPMS Nymburk info set is ready. Czech decals will be included. If nothing will go wrong premiere will be on E-Day 28th September.

Looks very promising.

 

Quite apparently, they performed some decent surgery on the original Trumpeter MiG-23M/MF fwd fuselage, hence correcting the most glaring errors of the original kit(s). If the rest* of the conversion will be half as nice as the new fwd fuselage and the clear parts, we could have a winner. The windshield appears to be a wee bit too short, though...

 

*Stbd wing glove Delta-NG bullet fairing, new exhaust nozzle, new NLG wheels and doors, rear fuseage bomb racks, etc. And most ideally, a new resin rudder depicting the correct centre rudder hinge without rudder dampers.

I'll buy that. Need Iraqi decals.

The Linden Hill sheet (32010) provides national markings and serial numbers - you'll need to rearrange these - suitable for the BN.

Looks nice. As mentioned I hope they might now consider doing a -27 as well.
