mozart
Now that Pastor John has produced a conversion set for the Bf110G-4 (for which I'm using a Dragon E-2 as a base kit), I can finally start to build the kit that I've been saving for some years, a Bf110E Nachtjager, circa 1942: I'm using Brett Green's book as my guide for painting and trying to achieve something like the finish that he and Chris Wauchop manage: I'm going to build Heinz Schnaufer's first operation Bf110 when he was with NJG1, G9+LN: and a little interesting detail of a Bf110E being re-fuelled with some well-weathered areas: Dragon's instruction sheet is widely known to be "vague" at best, so progress is going to be very carefully checked - with the exception of the IP the crew area is all dry fitted: The plane will be built OOB apart from the exhausts; Quickboost's hollowed out ones are far superior! monthebiff
Cool project Max, I'm calling it cheating in readyness for our G-4 conversions! Wish I could do multiples of big twin engined birds but I cant as thats pretty much my staple diet these days so I have to choose my versions caefully. Will be following your progress. Regards. mozart
Great project choice. This will be a fun build to follow. Cheers tj, the Bf110 is one of my favourite aircraft of all time and although I've built four in 1/48th scale including the Dragon offering, this is my first 1/32nd one which I've been looking forward to building for so long. I hope it's fun for me too!! Max

Andy Yes, unashamed, blatant and unabashed cheating Andy, and I don't feel the slightest bit guilty ....must be the time of the year! Crack on with your superb Ju188 and you'll be lining up the G-4 in next to no time. Max Rick Griewski
mozart
Go Max Go! This will be a fun one to watch! All the best and Merry Christmas Paul Cheers Paul. I love the Bf110 in all its guises so I hope this will show in the build. I can't usually build OOB but this kit is such good quality and complete that there is no reason to add any AM, apart from being lazy in not hollowing out the exhausts! mozart
Good to see a new build, Max! Merry Christmas! Thanks Shaka, been a while since I've done a proper WIP but I'm passionate about this plane, and the one that's coming after it (the Bf110G-4) so thanks for looking in, any snow in Hawaii this Christmas!
