Shaka HI
I have this heavy book titled "The Great Book of World War II Airplanes" which started this passion for me decades ago. It's falling apart, but I've read this more times than I can remember. The scheme, I'd like to replicate: Some scratching of the area behind the seat...I just need to show there's something more than blank space visible through the windows (which seems oversized). This is not a "signature" build gents...one day, I will be a lot more mindful about the details I need/should add to my signature model -- in the mean time, I'll continue to build, learn and gain experience. Thanks for the offer, Carl! You're the best, man. But I think I can hand paint the mouth. I'll AB the white and fill in the rest! Shawn M
it'll look just fine under a coat of paint, behind the windows, inside the closed fuelage I too LOVE that scheme and would build a Hellcat just for that reason Shaka HI and mpk
dmthamade
IIRC Eduard did a mask set for the sharkmouth hellcat, don't know if it came in 1/32.... Don mpk and Shaka HI
dennismcc
The cockpit is looking good and the scheme that you have chosen looks great, I had to look the scheme up and was surprised to see it described as a cat mouth, though thinking about it it is pretty appropriate for a Hellcat. Shaka HI
Martin, I know there's some issues with the wheel bays as I've read some builds online about this kit..but I'm unsure if I'll address them. I'll need to see if it's worth my effort on this particular build. Another 90 mins on the shoulder belts...my eyes hurt. And patience tested! dennismcc
I can only use the RB belts with my magnifying lamp and a healthy dose of patience but they are so worth it, just used them on 3 Spitfires. Cheers Dennis Bill_S and mpk
